What makes B.I.T.E. Box different from other food boxes featuring foods from around the world?
A lot of other food boxes that feature a destination focus on mainstream food items and often look like they just raided the local gas station snack aisle. B.I.T.E. Box is all about foods made by people passionate about what they are doing. It is food that is meant to engage you in the kitchen and around the table. Our goal is to inspire you to get out and explore in real life . . . not just say you ate something from somewhere new. We also believe it is just as important to know the people and places behind the foods so you can have a better appreciation for the cultures and people that make our world so special.
And we actually coordinate trips to get you out the door and into the world.
What if I receive my box and something is broken?
As much as we try to carefully pack each box, once it is out the door we can't control what happens to it. But a broken jar or melted chocolate bar is no fun. If something is wrong we want to make it right. Reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on social and we will try to make it right.
Why haven't I gotten my box yet?
Unlike other boxes, we don't just throw a bunch of product in a box and send it out each month. We send boxes 4 times a year - August/November/February/May - so we have time to chat with the makers, create recipes, and provide you with the best online experience to go with your box. If you ordered after the first of one of our shipping months you won't receive your first box until the next quarter.
Don't worry though because you can still enjoy all the online content and occasionally we've got extra goodies that we send out to new subscribers to keep them inspired until their full box arrives. Watch your inbox for updates and details.
What if I live outside the US?
We do ship outside of the continental US, but we do have to charge extra for international shipping. This should be calculated and included at the time you subscribe. Hopefully, one-day international shipping costs will become more affordable . . . or you could spread the word and help us grow so that international shipping becomes more cost-effective for us.
